Matt Wins Again
A week after capturing the SC & SBDG Associations Open & Closed Amateur Championship at Headland with a great score of 4 under par 68. Matt Gill took out the Ian Baker-Finch Junior Classic at Beerwah on Sunday with a fine score of 69. By winning last week Matt secured a place in the District Team to Visit Mt Isa next year, while Sundays win gained him entry into the Master Card Junior Masters to Be Held in Perth early next year. Matt almost made it 3 in a row on Monday when he finished runner up in the Bribie Island Junior Classic after losing on the first extra hole of a playoff. Matt also won the Horton Park Junior Open which was held during the September school holidays.
